My trip to Kiev, in picture form.

I went on a business trip to Kiev, Ukraine, a few weeks ago and tried to document the more interesting things that I found as I was being shuttled from meeting to meeting for 3 straight days. I have no idea which cathedral is which – I thought they were gorgeous pieces of architecture and wanted to document as many as I could without getting in trouble. Cameras weren’t allowed inside a lot of them, so that’s why there’s more outside pics than inside ones.
This tank was in the lobby of our hotel.
When you walked up to the tank, they'd stare at you. Freaky.
One of many awesome cathedrals I took pictures of.
Yet another cathedral
This was the only cathedral I could take an interior shot of and it was beautiful.
Another cathedral.

This was the desk in my hotel room.
Not even close to a comfortable bed.
Under the comforter. There were two of these, but I only used one.
This is a typical toilet paper dispenser in most public places.
This is the sheet that comes out of the toilet paper dispenser.
I thought the life:) service provider was cool.
The staff kept giving beer to my co-worker sitting next to me, so I had to document the evidence. The bowl of red stuff is a common soup in Kiev (Borscht) and the bowl of white stuff is sour cream.
We had a huge surprise birthday party and this table was empty when we arrived. This was taken near the end of the night.
This sticker was on my bathroom garbage can. It was so awesome I had to take a picture.
This huge picture of Steve Vai was on a window just outside the hotel.
This other picture of Vai was on another window of the same building.
This is a hologram of a cat. There was a whole museum of these holograms, but I thought this was the cutest.
I took this picture solely because a drink on the menu was called the Orgazmo.
Everyone needs HP Sauce! Though... "The Original"? Does this mean there's more HP Sauce in the world?
It was a good trip. I have no idea if I’ll be going back next year, but if I do, I’m sure I’ll find more stuff to take pictures of.
